October is synonymous with Call of Duty, and this year is no different. Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for a treat, with a heavy emphasis on Activision Blizzard titles throughout the latter half of October and into November. The spotlight shines brightest on October 25th, marking the arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on cloud, console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. Adding to the excitement, Modern Warfare 3, which debuted on the service in July, will also become available on Xbox Cloud Gaming on October 25th, alongside Call of Duty: Warzone.
Black Ops 6 delivers the core Call of Duty experience, featuring new multiplayer maps, a Zombies mode, and a gripping single-player campaign. However, developers Treyarch and Raven Software have introduced innovative gameplay mechanics, such as the Omnimovement system, enabling players to traverse the environment with unprecedented fluidity. The return of the classic Prestige system for progression and a fully customizable HUD further enhance the player experience.

Preloading for Black Ops 6 commences at 9 a.m. PT on October 21st for PC, rolling out between 4 a.m. and 11 p.m. PT. Activision’s announcement detailed the preload schedule and system requirements.
Beyond Call of Duty, the strategic depth of the StarCraft universe arrives on Game Pass on November 5th. StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection will be accessible on PC for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. While the multiplayer component remains free-to-play on Battle.net, Game Pass members can experience the enhanced single-player campaigns, including all expansions, upgraded with 4K and widescreen support.
