The Seven Kingdoms come to life in a new way with the announcement of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, a mobile open-world RPG. Revealed at The Game Awards, this collaboration between Netmarble and HBO promises an immersive Westeros experience for iOS and Android devices in 2025.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad allows players to forge their own destinies within the familiar world of Westeros. Choose your path as an Assassin, Sellsword, or Knight, and embark on a journey through iconic locations. Engage in skill-based combat and encounter beloved characters like Jaime Lannister, Lord Varys, and Jon Snow.
HBO’s Game of Thrones stands as a landmark television series, surpassing even the acclaimed The Sopranos and The West Wing in popularity. Based on George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy series, the show follows a complex web of families vying for control of the coveted Iron Throne. While the Stark family anchors much of the narrative, other houses, like the powerful Lannisters, also play crucial roles. The show’s critical success is undeniable, with 59 Emmy Awards out of 164 nominations across its seven seasons.
This isn’t the first foray of Game of Thrones into the gaming world.
