According to Marvel Rivals‘ Creative Director, Guangguang, in a recent Dev Vision video, Season 1 is slated to begin in early January 2025. This will set the framework for all subsequent full seasons. Season 0 is considered a condensed version, offering a taste of the full season experience.
Guangguang further detailed that future seasons, including Season 1, will introduce new content, maps, heroes, Team-Up Abilities, and potentially new game modes. Each season is expected to last approximately three months, providing ample time to explore the expanding content. Marvel Rivals is committed to a consistent flow of updates and seasonal rewards.

Guangguang explained that the pricing for Season 0 reflects its shorter duration and reduced content compared to a full season. Despite being shorter, regular updates will still deliver new costumes inspired by classic comics, the MCU, and the unique Marvel Rivals storyline.
