Marvel Rivals, launching this week, offers a diverse roster of 33 characters, from iconic heroes like Captain America and Hulk to lesser-known figures like Jeff the Land Shark and Luna Snow. Each character boasts a range of skins and cosmetics available for purchase in-game. However, players can acquire two free Spider-Man-themed skins at launch without spending a dime. Here’s how:

Acquiring the Free Scarlet Spider Skin for Spider-Man

Free Spider-Man Skins at Marvel Rivals LaunchThis free skin features Spider-Man in the Scarlet Spider costume, inspired by Kaine Parker’s design but adapted to fit the Marvel Rivals aesthetic. Obtaining this skin is remarkably simple: own a PlayStation 5. PS5 players will automatically receive the Scarlet Spider outfit upon launching the game. Unfortunately, this skin is currently exclusive to PS5 due to a partnership between PlayStation and NetEase Games, leaving Xbox and PC players without access for now. So, spotting a player in the Scarlet Spider suit signifies they’re playing on PS5.

Obtaining the Free Peni Parker VEN#M Skin

Free Spider-Man Skins at Marvel Rivals LaunchThe second free skin features Peni Parker and her mech from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, sporting a Venom-inspired look called the “VEN#M Suit.” This skin is linked to PlayStation Plus. Subscribers will receive the VEN#M skin as part of a bundle including a unique spray can, MVP animation, and extra Season Pass tokens.

Unlike the Scarlet Spider skin, the Peni Parker VEN#M suit isn’t entirely PS5 exclusive. While PS Plus members get it free, Xbox and PC players can purchase the bundle in the Marvel Rivals in-game store.

Marvel Rivals launches on December 6th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. For more details on Season 0 content, refer to [link from original article if it exists].
