The next free update for Disney Dreamlight Valley is coming soon, bringing with it a brand-new winter-themed Star Path. The game’s developers are already teasing some of the frosty rewards players can unlock. The official Disney Dreamlight Valley X/Twitter account has posted three emoji pairs hinting at these upcoming items: a snowflake and a fairy, a cloud with snow and a rabbit, and an ice cube with a chair.
The first teaser suggests icy, fairy-themed avatar customizations, perhaps wings or a full costume. The second pair hints at new ice-themed animal companions, possibly rabbits. Finally, the ice cube and chair emojis point towards frozen furniture additions for decorating your valley. These teasers align perfectly with both typical Star Path rewards and the sneak peek shown during last month’s Disney Dreamlight Valley showcase. That stream revealed ice-adorned furniture, such as a desk and lamp. We also know one reward will be a magical wand for creating snowflakes.

Luckily, players won’t have to wait long to uncover all the Star Path rewards. The new Star Path arrives with the “Sew Delightful” update on December 4th. This update introduces other additions, most notably Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington, added last December, plays a key role in Sally’s arrival, and players can even arrange a date night for the spooky couple. Sally’s friendship rewards feature patchwork-style items, like a dress and a bed.

The “Sew Delightful” update also includes quality-of-life improvements. One significant change enhances item placement, giving players 16 rotation points for buildings, furniture, and placed objects (excluding fences and paths, although this feature is in development). Four new floating islands, purchasable with Dreamlight, will also be added. The next update, planned for early 2025, is rumored to introduce a new Realm based on Aladdin.
