However, even with these advantages, locating a missing person with only a vague clue remains a challenging task. Sanza, who previously enlisted your help in Dawntrail, requires assistance once again, having lost another cartographer in Emerald Stair. This guide provides a precise location for the missing cartographer, eliminating the need for extensive searching.
While the previous cartographer quest offered a general direction, this time only the name of the area within Emerald Stair is provided: Naku Tedek. This isolated island lies at the southernmost point of the map.
After crossing the bridge to Naku Tedek, navigate along the western edge towards the cliffs. If you encounter enemies requiring you to jump a gap, retreat slightly and continue further west and south. The cartographer’s body will be found near the cliff edge, their map lying beside them. To complete the quest, you must return to the emporium in Dawntrail.
