Initially launched with the Galaxy S25 series in January, the update promises enhanced AI integration and personalized user experiences. According to Samsung Singapore, the rollout began on April 14th for the Galaxy S24 series, with other devices expected to follow soon. This is a slight shift from earlier reports suggesting a global rollout starting April 7th.

One UI 7 will be available for a wide array of Galaxy devices, including:

  • Galaxy S Series: Galaxy S24 Series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy S21 Series, and Galaxy S21 FE.
  • Galaxy Z Series: Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3.
  • Galaxy Tab Series: Galaxy Tab S10 Series, Galaxy Tab S9 Series, Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series, Galaxy Tab S8 Series, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

One UI 7 introduces a redesigned interface with a simplified home screen, enhanced widgets, and a customizable lock screen. The “Now Bar” on the lock screen provides real-time updates from various apps, offering convenient access to information without unlocking your device.

Galaxy AI is deeply integrated into One UI 7, enabling more intuitive interactions and streamlined tasks. Features like “AI Select,” “Writing Assist,” “Drawing Assist,” and “Audio Eraser” leverage AI to boost productivity and creativity. Deeper integration with Google Gemini allows for natural language control, simplifying tasks like searching within Settings and adjusting preferences.
