One line explicitly states: “Speak more naturally and get more done with your new assistant, reimagined with Google AI.” Other lines, such as “Meet Gemini” and “Your AI Assistant for the car,” further solidify Google’s intentions for this update.
The code also reveals a “try later” button, presumably allowing drivers to postpone the switch to Gemini if desired. Given the deep integration within the vehicle’s system, a phased rollout, allowing drivers to adapt to the change, is a sensible approach.
