Asus recently announced a lineup of new monitors, including a dual-mode gaming monitor and a high-resolution ProArt display, set to debut at CES 2025. The standout products are the ROG Strix XG32UCG gaming monitor and the ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV, both promising innovative features for gamers and creative professionals.
The ROG Strix XG32UCG offers a unique dual-mode functionality, allowing users to switch between 4K resolution at 160Hz and 1080p at 360Hz. This flexibility caters to both AAA gaming and esports titles, providing optimal performance for each. Unlike its predecessor, the OLED-based ROG Swift PG32UCDP, the XG32UCG utilizes a Fast IPS panel. While the refresh rates are slightly lower than the Swift, this could translate to a more affordable price point. The monitor supports FreeSync Premium, G-Sync, and VESA VRR, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of graphics cards. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a 15-watt USB-C port. Asus also highlights convenient mouse-controlled settings adjustments and AI-powered enhancements like Dynamic Crosshair and Dynamic Shadow Boost.

For creative professionals, the ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV boasts a remarkable 6,016 x 3,384 resolution on its 32-inch panel. This significantly increases workspace compared to a standard 32-inch 4K monitor, offering up to 145% more screen real estate. The PA32QCV also prioritizes color accuracy, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color space and 100% of sRGB. It aims for VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and features an anti-glare, low-reflection coating for optimal image clarity. Connectivity is comprehensive with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a USB hub.
Beyond these flagship models, Asus also introduced the ZenScreen MB169CK, a portable 15.6-inch 1080p IPS monitor with a detachable stand, ideal for laptop users seeking extra screen space. Additional ZenScreen options include a 32-inch UHD IPS model and a 27-inch 100Hz QHD variant. Two more ProArt Display monitors, both 4K, are also on the horizon, one in 32-inch and another in 27-inch sizes.
Asus will officially unveil these monitors at CES 2025. Pricing and release dates are yet to be announced, but further details are expected in the coming months.
