The end-of-year sales season is upon us, and Ford is leading the charge with significant incentives on their popular electric vehicles, the 2024 F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E. These deals aim to clear out existing inventory and pave the way for upcoming models, offering attractive financing options and substantial cash bonuses for potential buyers.
Ford is offering 0% financing for 72 months, plus a $5,000 cash bonus, on purchases of the Mach-E and F-150 Lightning XLT and Platinum trims. Lease options are equally compelling, with the Mach-E boasting a $7,500 lease cash incentive and an additional $3,000 bonus. The F-150 Lightning lease deals include a $3,500 lease cash incentive and a $3,000 bonus.
Further sweetening the deal, Ford is including a complimentary home charger with standard installation covered under their Ford Power Promise program. This initiative addresses a key concern for prospective EV owners, removing a potential barrier to entry and simplifying the transition to electric driving.
Ford CEO Jim Farley emphasizes that more than simple rebates are needed to convince the estimated 19 million Americans interested in EVs. The Power Promise program, launched in late September, aims to alleviate common anxieties surrounding electric vehicle ownership. Like other automakers, Ford has prioritized simplifying public charging, including providing access to Tesla’s Supercharger network via an adapter.
“We have learned just how important home charging is to overall electric vehicle adoption in the U.S.,” Farley states. “Nearly 90% of shoppers say they would be more likely to buy an electric vehicle if they knew they could charge at home.”
Beyond home charging, Ford is committed to ensuring drivers can easily locate charging stations on the go. Their BlueOval charge network integrates various networks, including Electrify America and Tesla Superchargers, providing a comprehensive charging solution.
To further bolster buyer confidence, Ford offers an eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty on their EV batteries.
These incentives, coupled with Ford’s focus on addressing key customer concerns, make the 2024 F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E attractive options for those considering switching to electric vehicles. With attractive financing, cash bonuses, and a comprehensive charging solution, Ford is making a strong push in the burgeoning EV market.
