Einride, a leader in autonomous trucking technology, has deployed its driverless electric vehicle at a GE Appliances facility in Selmer, Tennessee. This marks a significant step forward for autonomous freight transport.
This cabless electric truck operates full-time, transporting finished goods between GE Appliances’ manufacturing plant and its warehouse, Monday through Thursday. The zero-emission vehicle makes up to seven shuttles daily along a 0.3-mile private road, as announced by Einride.
