Audi’s MMI, like the rest of their vehicles, is sleek and well-designed. It features a rotary controller and, in some models, a handwriting-recognizing touchpad. Its standout feature is the “Virtual Cockpit,” a digital instrument cluster displaying everything from speed to Google Maps satellite imagery. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available on most new models. Newer models, like the Q8 and E-Tron, boast a dual-screen setup, replacing analog controls with a lower screen that functions seamlessly.
BMW iDrive
A pioneer in comprehensive infotainment systems, BMW’s iDrive remains a top contender. Its rotary controller simplifies menu navigation, offering a more user-friendly experience than constant touchscreen tapping.
