The interior largely mirrors the standard S-Class, which already boasts one of the most luxurious cabins in the automotive world. Nappa leather, massaging seats, and a mesmerizing 64-color ambient lighting system create an opulent atmosphere. AMG-specific touches, such as a new steering wheel design and available carbon-fiber trim, add a sporty flair to the luxurious environment.
Technology and Driver Assistance: Seamless Integration
The S63 E Performance carries over the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system from the standard S-Class. The system features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, offering seamless integration and intuitive operation. A 3.7-kW AC onboard charger is standard, but Mercedes has yet to release details on charging times or DC fast charging availability. As with the standard S-Class, crash-test ratings from IIHS and NHTSA are not expected due to the limited production volume. Warranty coverage should align with other S-Class models.
