PlayStation 5 owners can grab this critically acclaimed title at a discounted price through various retailers, including the PlayStation Store, PS Direct, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart. Both digital and physical copies are included in the promotion.
The PlayStation Store’s sale ends on December 3rd, while PS Direct’s offer runs until December 25th. Traditional retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart haven’t specified an end date for their discounts.
With a Metacritic score of 94, Astro Bot shares the top spot for highest-rated PS5 games of 2024. Developed by Team Asobi and released on September 6th, the game has garnered significant praise.
The current discount offers a 17% price reduction across all participating platforms, bringing the price down to $49.74 from its original $59.99. While not a massive price drop, this marks the first time Astro Bot has been discounted since its September release. As part of the Black Friday sales, it’s unlikely to see a lower price anytime soon, though a further reduction closer to Christmas remains a possibility.
For those unfamiliar with the game, the official description reads: “When the PS5 mothership is attacked by Astro’s long-standing galactic nemesis, scrambling its wires and scattering the crew throughout space, only Astro can make things right.
