Baldur’s Gate 3, the critically acclaimed RPG from Larian Studios, is getting a major update in 2025. Patch 8 promises to deliver several highly anticipated features, including crossplay, a dedicated photo mode, and new subclasses for every class.
Crossplay and cross-progression will allow players to enjoy the game with friends regardless of their chosen platform. This highly requested feature eliminates platform barriers and expands the multiplayer experience. The addition of photo mode will address a common frustration among players. Previously, capturing in-game moments was hampered by the user interface. The new photo mode boasts a range of features, including camera and lens adjustments, post-processing effects, stickers, and over 40 character poses. This will enable players to document their adventures and share stunning screenshots with ease.
