Ormond Lake Mine: A New Map with a Chilling Backstory
Bone Chill introduces a brand new map, Ormond Lake Mine, to Dead by Daylight. This chilling location delves into a dark chapter of Mount Ormond’s history, where a mining crew met a grisly end, seemingly slaughtering each other for no apparent reason. This unsettling backstory makes Ormond Lake Mine a perfect setting for the holiday horror event. The map will remain in the game’s rotation even after the Bone Chill event concludes.
Snowskull Fights and Snowman Shenanigans
While exploring Ormond Lake Mine, players should be on the lookout for Snowskull piles. These twisted snowballs can be collected and used as projectiles against killers. Players can hold up to six Snowskulls, ensuring they’re always armed for a frosty fight. A well-aimed Snowskull can temporarily stun killers, providing a crucial opportunity for escape.
Bone Chill also introduces the ability to instantly create snowmen. With a Snowskull in hand, players can build a snowman anywhere on the map and use it for concealment, hiding from pursuing killers. Alternatively, players can create Snowman Decoys to trick unsuspecting killers into a chilling surprise. The strategic use of both snowman types adds a new layer of tactical gameplay to the event.
A Festive Blend of Horror and Holiday Cheer
The Bone Chill event offers a unique blend of holiday cheer and terrifying gameplay. With free skins, a new map, and engaging activities, there’s plenty to keep players entertained. Logging in throughout the event maximizes the potential for earning event currency and unlocking all the available rewards. These rewards are permanent additions to players’ inventories, perfect for showcasing festive fear during future winter holidays. So, embrace the holiday horror, gather your Snowskulls, and stay alive!
