Disney Dreamlight Valley’s latest free update, Sew Delightful, is now available across most platforms. While Gameloft notes there may be a slight delay for some regions, players can confirm the update’s arrival by checking for the updated loading screen. This exciting update introduces a plethora of new content, including a new character, a refreshed Star Path, and valuable quality of life enhancements. It also brings floating islands, expanding the decorative possibilities and allowing players to showcase their creativity.
Following Jack Skellington’s arrival in December 2023, the Sew Delightful update welcomes Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Her arrival intertwines with both Jack and Kristoff from Frozen, as players must decipher mysterious spider messages covering Kristoff’s house. Unlocking Sally unlocks new quests and friendship rewards, further enriching the gameplay experience.
Perfectly complementing the wintery theme, the new Frost and Fairies Star Path offers ice-themed items and clothing. Gameloft introduces a unique twist for Premium Path purchasers: completing the path unlocks additional duties, which in turn unlock reward variants, including a Winter Cottage House Dream Style.
Beyond Star Path rewards, DreamSnaps also receive an overhaul. Players on Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox can now toggle the Top DreamSnaps Showcase in the help section, displaying the top three player-ranked images. This feature aims to inspire creativity by showcasing exemplary DreamSnaps. Unfortunately, due to platform compliance regulations, this feature is currently unavailable on PlayStation.
As previously announced, the Sew Delightful update introduces 16-point item rotation, granting players greater control over item placement. Addressing long-standing player requests across social media, the update also incorporates Brazilian Portuguese language support.
