Fortnite’s latest season, Chapter 2 Remix, is launching a star-studded musical event running throughout November. This innovative collaboration sees the popular battle royale game partnering with iconic artists like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD to remix the in-game map each week, offering players fresh experiences and exciting rewards. This event further solidifies Epic Games’ vision of transforming Fortnite into a central hub for social entertainment.

This music-focused event builds upon Fortnite’s previous musical integrations, such as last year’s Guitar Hero-inspired Fortnite Festival mode. Chapter 2 Remix elevates this concept by partnering with four musical superstars, each bringing their unique style to the game.

The Chapter 2 Remix experience unfolds in three acts. The first act kicked off with a live concert featuring Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice in New York City’s Times Square, streamed live within Fortnite.

The season officially launched on November 2nd, 2024. Each week of November features a different artist takeover, transforming familiar locations and introducing new challenges.

Week one focuses on Snoop Dogg. The Agency point of interest transforms into The Doggpound, where players can earn Snoop’s mythic Drum Gun by defeating him. The Boogie Bomb also receives a Snoop Dogg-themed update, playing his hit song Drop It Like It’s Hot and triggering a dance when thrown. Snoop Dogg also takes the spotlight as the Icon for Season 6 of Fortnite Festival.

Week two features Eminem. The Grotto becomes a “Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant,” a nod to a memorable lyric from Lose Yourself and a real-world restaurant. Players can obtain the mythic RG Minigun by defeating Eminem at this location. A Rap Boy Reloaded outfit will also be available in the Fortnite Shop during week two.

The final week pays tribute to the late Juice WRLD, a popular artist among Fortnite players. In collaboration with the artist’s estate, Epic Games offers a cel-shaded Slyer Juice WRLD Outfit to players who log in on November 30th. The event culminates on November 30th with a grand finale event titled Remix: The Finale.

Beyond the artist takeovers, Fortnite introduces a new customization option: Kicks. Players can equip their characters with various sneakers, including Air Jordans through a partnership with Nike, available in this season’s battle pass.
