Fortnite Crew Subscription Now Includes All Battle Passes Fortnite Crew Subscription Now Includes All Battle Passes

Fortnite is changing how battle passes work, streamlining progression and altering its Fortnite Crew subscription service. Starting December 1st, all battle passes, including the Battle Royale, Music, and Lego passes, will be accessible through the Fortnite Crew subscription for $12 per month. This change, announced in a recent blog post, simplifies access and provides more value for subscribers.

All-Inclusive Battle Pass Access

The Fortnite Crew subscription, launched in 2020, previously granted access to the current season’s Battle Royale pass, 1,000 V-Bucks, Rocket Pass Premium for Rocket League, and exclusive monthly outfits and benefits. This new update expands the offering to encompass all future battle passes, including the upcoming Fortnite OG pass for the new permanent Fortnite OG mode launching on December 6th. This consolidated approach means subscribers will automatically have access to all battle pass content, regardless of the game mode.

Claiming Rewards and Subscription Changes

While the core benefits of Fortnite Crew remain unchanged, Epic Games is adjusting how subscribers claim rewards. Previously, subscribers could claim pass rewards and immediately cancel their subscription. Going forward, both new and current subscribers must maintain an active subscription to claim rewards. This change prevents users from exploiting the system to receive benefits without ongoing commitment.

Battle Pass Price Adjustment and Bundle Savings

Alongside the subscription changes, the price of the Battle Royale Battle Pass is increasing slightly from 950 to 1,000 V-Bucks. While a minor increase, this marks the first price adjustment for the standard battle pass. To mitigate this change, Epic Games is offering better value in certain bundles. For example, the 25-level battle pass reward bundle is now reduced from 1,850 to 1,800 V-Bucks. The Lego and Music passes will maintain their current pricing.

Conclusion: Enhanced Value for Fortnite Fans

The changes to Fortnite Crew offer a compelling value proposition for dedicated players. The inclusion of all battle passes in a single subscription simplifies access and ensures players won’t miss out on future content. While the slight price increase for the Battle Royale Battle Pass might seem like a drawback, the bundled discounts and overall value of the all-inclusive Fortnite Crew subscription offer a more streamlined and cost-effective experience in the long run.
