The hit musical film Wicked is soaring into the world of Funko Fusion with new downloadable content (DLC) available now. Players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam can jump into the game today and experience the magic of Wicked with iconic characters joining the playable roster. Two DLC packs are available, each priced at $7.99, offering fans the chance to play as their favorite witches and wizards.
The first DLC pack introduces Elphaba and Glinda, bringing these beloved characters to life in the game. Elphaba appears in her signature black attire, complete with her iconic hat and broomstick. Glinda graces the game in her recognizable pink bubble gown and tiara. The second DLC pack features The Wizard and Madame Morrible, adding further depth to the Wicked experience within Funko Fusion. For those who want it all, a bundle containing all four characters is also available for $11.99. These in-game designs are inspired by existing Funko Pop figures, offering a fun connection for collectors.

Funko Fusion is also set to release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 later this week. Players on Switch and PS4 have already endured a long wait, and access to all available add-ons, including content from Wicked, The Walking Dead, Invincible, and more, would be a welcome reward.
Released earlier this year, Funko Fusion boasts a diverse roster of characters primarily from Universal properties, including films like Nope, The Thing, Jurassic World, and now Wicked. The game also features characters from other franchises, such as Capcom’s Mega Man and Colonel Sanders from KFC. This eclectic mix makes the addition of Wicked characters a fitting and exciting expansion to the game’s already unique lineup.
While the Wicked content is limited to playable characters, the absence of dedicated levels or worlds based on the film might disappoint some fans. Exploring iconic locations like Shiz University and the Emerald City would have been a fantastic addition. However, the opportunity to play as Elphaba and experience her magical abilities within the game’s existing environments still offers an engaging experience for fans of the musical.
