The popular Lego modes within Fortnite, introduced almost a year ago, are about to undergo a significant transformation. Epic Games has announced major changes, including a rebranding and new game additions, just in time for the one-year anniversary.
The existing Lego Fortnite will be renamed Lego Fortnite Odyssey, serving as the central hub for all Lego-related content within the Fortnite ecosystem. This will provide a streamlined access point for players to jump into any Lego game mode. A key update arriving on December 10th, called Storm Chasers, will introduce the highly anticipated Storm King boss fight, a revamped progression system, new crafting mechanics, and numerous other enhancements. While this may not be the PvE experience some initially envisioned, it promises a unique and engaging experience.
Lego Fortnite Odyssey: Storm Chasers Update and the Storm King
The Storm Chasers update, launching on December 10th, will introduce the formidable Storm King boss battle to Lego Fortnite Odyssey. Alongside this epic encounter, players can expect a reworked progression system and exciting new crafting features, adding depth and replayability to the game mode.

Lego Fortnite Brick Life: A New Social Roleplaying Experience
Launching just two days later, on December 12th, is Lego Fortnite Brick Life. This new addition is a social roleplaying game accommodating up to 32 players within a vibrant Lego city. Players can explore a wide array of locations, from “sunset-drenched beaches” to iconic Fortnite landmarks like Durrr Burger, the Rooftop Club, and Mourndale Academy.
Customization and Progression in Brick Life
Lego Fortnite Brick Life offers extensive customization options. Players can choose their own home, from cozy suburban houses to stylish apartments in high-rise buildings. Furnishing options abound, allowing for personalized interiors, with additional items unlockable by taking on various jobs, such as Sushi Chef, Fortune Teller, and Security Officer.

Exclusive Outfits and Account Linking
Mobile players will receive the exclusive Chord Kahale outfit, which will also be available in the shop later on. Linking your Lego and Epic Games accounts unlocks the Mr. Dappermint outfit. The game promises a blend of classic Lego charm, reminiscent of titles like Lego Island, with a social element akin to Habbo Hotel, allowing communication through text and emojis.
