Players will take on the role of Swordsman No. 8, a mysterious character guided by a floating yellow companion named Puck.
Shadow Labyrinth promises a dark and mysterious world ravaged by interstellar war. Players will explore interconnected environments, unlocking new abilities that allow them to access previously unreachable areas. Gameplay footage showcased Swordsman No. 8 swinging and jumping through diverse locations, hinting at a focus on exploration and platforming. The trailer also reveals a unique mechanic where Puck can merge with Swordsman No. 8 to devour defeated enemies, a clear homage to Pac-Man’s core gameplay. This transformation, however, takes a decidedly darker turn, with Puck morphing into a monstrous red and black entity with menacing teeth.
