PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this holiday season. Just before the break, Sony is bolstering its PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs with a substantial collection of PS4 and PS5 games. Headlining this December update is the PS5-exclusive action RPG, Forspoken.
Originally revealed in 2020 as Project Athia, Forspoken launched to mixed reception. While its magic-powered traversal and combat were praised, the game’s dialogue proved divisive for many players. Despite underperforming commercially, Forspoken offers a unique experience, particularly for those interested in fast-paced action and a visually stunning open world. Its addition to PS Plus Extra provides an excellent opportunity for subscribers to explore the world of Athia without a separate purchase.
