The developers have released a list of prohibited and “not recommended” software, and some of the inclusions are perplexing. While understandable restrictions exist on cheating software, the inclusion of USB drives and other common peripherals has sparked confusion and concern.

GTI Security, a real-time monitoring system, actively bans players for various violations. Obvious prohibitions include cheat engines, speed hacks, and emulation scripts. However, the list also includes virtual machines, potentially impacting users playing on Hackintoshes. Even more curious is the inclusion of USB drives on the prohibited list. While they could theoretically be used for cheating, many players utilize external drives for legitimate purposes, such as media storage or Plex servers.

Furthermore, the “not recommended” category includes remote access and frame capture tools. This suggests streaming Delta Force from a home server or using software like NVStreamer or RenderDoc could also trigger GTI Security. While using prohibited software results in a ban, the consequences of using “not recommended” software remain unclear, potentially causing in-game bugs.
