New Google Fi Wireless Plans Offer More Choices
Google Fi has introduced a new, budget-friendly plan called “Unlimited Essentials.” Starting at $35 per month for a single line, this plan provides 30GB of high-speed data before throttling, with the option to purchase additional high-speed data. This makes Google Fi accessible to a wider range of users.
The existing “Simply Unlimited” plan has been renamed “Unlimited Standard” and now includes 50GB of high-speed data (up from 35GB), 25GB of hotspot data (increased from 5GB), and unlimited calls and texts within the US, Canada, and Mexico.
The premium option, “Unlimited Premium,” remains at $65 per month and offers 100GB of high-speed data, 50GB of hotspot data, six months of YouTube Premium, 100GB of Google One cloud storage, and various travel-focused perks.

Expanded 5G Roaming Coverage
Google Fi continues to offer data access in over 200 international destinations. A key improvement is the expansion of 5G roaming to 92 countries, ensuring faster speeds and a seamless mobile experience abroad. This enhanced 5G coverage significantly improves performance in regions with advanced 5G infrastructure, allowing for activities like streaming 4K videos and accessing maps with ease.

Data-Only eSIMs Now Available
A significant addition to Google Fi is the introduction of data-only eSIMs. Users can now activate up to four data-only eSIMs per line on the Unlimited Premium and Flexible plans. This eliminates the need for physical SIM cards, making it ideal for iPads, iPhones, and other eSIM-compatible devices. The Flexible plan is priced at $20 per month plus $10 per GB of data used, capped at $80 per month per line.

Google Fi’s Continued Commitment to Travelers
The introduction of data-only eSIMs and expanded 5G roaming addresses key limitations and reinforces Google Fi’s commitment to providing a seamless and cost-effective international mobile experience.
