The upcoming Honor Magic V4 is rumored to boast one of the most impressive camera systems ever seen in a foldable phone, potentially outshining even the best foldable phones currently available. While official specifications are yet to be released, a recent leak suggests a groundbreaking 200MP periscope telephoto camera, setting a new standard for mobile photography.
According to a post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Magic V4 is expected to feature a remarkable camera setup. The leak indicates a 50MP 1/1.5″ primary sensor alongside a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.4″ type sensor and a remarkable 3x optical zoom capability.
This powerful camera combination positions the Honor Magic V4 to surpass competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, which features a 10MP telephoto lens, and the Oppo Find N5, which boasts a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.

Beyond its camera prowess, the Magic V4 is also rumored to be incredibly slim, measuring under 9mm when folded, even thinner than its predecessor, the Magic V3, which measured 9.2mm. The image above highlights the V3’s thin profile compared to other foldable phones. The Honor Magic V3 was initially the thinnest foldable phone upon release, though the Oppo Find N5 subsequently claimed that title.
Furthermore, the Honor Magic V4 is expected to feature an 8-inch 2K 120Hz inner display and a 6.45-inch 120Hz outer screen, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite system-on-a-chip (SoC).
These impressive specifications suggest a significant leap forward for foldable phone technology. The Honor Magic V4 is anticipated to launch this summer, with rumors pointing towards a June release window. With its potential groundbreaking camera and impressive specifications, the Magic V4 is poised to shake up the foldable phone market.
