The HTC Wildfire E5 Plus has quietly entered the market, offering an attractive price point of around $95. While this budget-friendly smartphone comes with some compromises, it delivers solid performance for its price, making it a viable option for cost-conscious consumers. Currently, availability is limited to select regions, with no information yet on a wider global release.

The Wildfire E5 Plus boasts a sleek, modern design reminiscent of flagship devices. Subtle details like slightly thicker bezels and prominent camera bumps hint at its budget-friendly nature. The expansive 6.75-inch display offers a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, although it’s limited to a 720p resolution.

Under the hood, the Wildfire E5 Plus is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset. While a capable processor in its time, the T606 now lags behind newer, more powerful options like the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It’s paired with 6GB of RAM, which limits AI functionality, and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP front-facing selfie camera.

One area where the Wildfire E5 Plus truly shines is its battery life. The 5,000mAh battery surpasses the capacity of Samsung’s current flagship lineup, even matching the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Given the E5 Plus’s lower power consumption, it’s expected to deliver exceptional battery endurance.

The Wildfire E5 Plus runs on Android 14 and is currently available in Vietnam for approximately $93. HTC has not yet disclosed any plans for a global launch.
