Huawei has recently expanded its wearable lineup with the launch of the Huawei Watch 5, Watch Fit 4, and Watch Fit 4 Pro smartwatches. Huawei Watch 5: A Closer Look
The Huawei Watch 5 showcases a sporty design with a circular screen seamlessly integrated with the lugs and strap. A key highlight is the availability of two sizes – 42mm and 46mm – catering to a wider range of wrist sizes. The 42mm variant features a stainless steel construction, while the 46mm model boasts a titanium build. Both versions are equipped with a spherical sapphire crystal protecting the display. The 42mm model has a 1.38-inch screen, whereas the 46mm version offers a larger 1.5-inch display.
With eight different models available, consumers can choose from a variety of case colors, including purple, gold, green, white, black, and silver. A selection of straps is also available, ranging from metal bracelets to sportier leather and rubber options. The Watch 5 runs on Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS, offering a unique user experience.

Innovative Health Tracking with X Tap Technology
One of the standout features of the Watch 5 is its X Tap technology. This innovative feature utilizes a pressure-sensitive side button equipped with ECG and heart rate sensors, providing comprehensive health insights. The Health Glance feature offers a quick overview of 10 different data points in just three seconds. The pressure-sensitive button also supports new gesture controls, such as swiping and double-tapping, for easier navigation. The Huawei Watch 5 supports both Wi-Fi 6 and eSIM connectivity. Battery life is estimated at three to four days in normal mode and up to 12 days in Battery Saver mode. Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Watch Fit 4 Pro: Style and Functionality
Building on the redesigned Watch Fit series, the Watch Fit 4 and Watch Fit 4 Pro cater to users drawn to rectangular smartwatches. Both models feature a 1.82-inch rectangular display, with the Fit 4 Pro boasting sapphire crystal protection and a titanium bezel atop an aluminum case. The Fit 4 Pro also offers a higher peak brightness of 3,000 nits compared to the Fit 4’s 2,000 nits.

Design and Features
The Fit 4 Pro distinguishes itself with a larger button guard and a more angular case. Despite its slim 9.3mm profile (compared to the Fit 4’s 9.5mm), it is slightly heavier at 32 grams versus 27 grams. Both models are designed for comfortable 24-hour wear. The Fit 4 comes in green, purple, white, black, or grey, while the Fit 4 Pro is available in blue, black, or green, each with a variety of strap options featuring a proprietary connection system.

Enhanced Fitness Tracking
New features for the Fit 4 series include a barometer, a depth sensor with a dive computer function up to 40 meters, 3D maps for 15,000 golf courses, a trail running mode with checkpoints, and running form analysis. Battery life is estimated at seven days in normal mode and up to 10 days with certain features disabled. Both models feature L1 and L5 GPS, 100 workout modes, and a wide selection of information-rich watch faces.

Pricing and Availability
The Huawei Watch Fit 4 starts at £150 (approximately $200), while the Fit 4 Pro starts at £250 (approximately $332). Both the Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4 series are compatible with Android and iOS smartphones via the Huawei Health app.
