Apple’s WWDC 2025 dates are confirmed, and leaks regarding iOS 19 are surfacing. Rumors suggest a major redesign, the biggest since iOS 7, but initial glimpses might not live up to the hype.
A recent mockup of the Messages app, shared by Jon Prosser, offers a potential preview. Prosser claims to have seen the real deal, opting to recreate it rather than leak the original. While differences are noticeable, they hardly constitute a “major design overhaul.” Subtle refinements include rounded navigation buttons and a smoother, more integrated keyboard suggestion bar. The overall aesthetic appears softer and more refined.
iOS 19 Camera App Redesign
Prior to the Messages mockup, Prosser also revealed a redesigned Camera app for iOS 19, supposedly based on a genuine leak.

Subtle Changes Expected in iOS 19
While these mockups hint at rounded menus, increased translucency, and button modifications, substantial changes seem limited. Prosser indicates the home screen remains largely unchanged.
These initial leaks, while intriguing, don’t point to a dramatic overhaul. Perhaps iOS 20 will deliver the significant redesign many anticipate. For now, we’re left with subtle refinements rather than a revolutionary transformation.
