The Motorola Razr Plus 2025 and Motorola Razr 2025 (known internationally as the Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60) are set to launch on April 24th. Leaked images, courtesy of Evan Blass, provide a close look at the more affordable Razr 60, expected to be the US Razr 2025. These high-quality promotional images offer a glimpse of the phone’s design and features just days before its official unveiling.

The Razr 60 appears to retain a similar design to its predecessor, but with notable changes in texture and color options. Previous rumors suggested a wood finish for the Razr Plus, a feature that might also be present on the standard Razr 60. The leaked images showcase several attractive colorways: Gibraltar Sea (blue) with a textured, canvas-like finish reminiscent of the Edge 60 Fusion, Spring Bud (green) in what looks like vegan leather, and Lightest Sky (white) with a subtle grain texture.

Beyond the striking aesthetics, the leaked images highlight the Razr 60’s cover display. Motorola has consistently impressed with the functionality of its cover screens, often surpassing Samsung in usability. While not as large as the Razr 60 Ultra’s, the Razr 60’s cover display still offers ample space, elegantly wrapping around the camera lenses.

The images demonstrate the cover display’s practicality. It’s shown previewing images for the camera, allowing subjects to see how they’ll appear in the photo. Additionally, it displays a photo montage, a full array of apps, customization controls, and navigation icons.

This enhanced cover display is a key element of the Razr’s appeal. While the folding design certainly saves pocket space, the cover screen’s expanded functionality allows for quick access to apps and other essential tasks.

While the specific user interface changes and new features remain undisclosed, Motorola has indicated a focus on Moto AI. This AI integration, expected across Motorola’s lineup from the budget-friendly Edge 60 Fusion to the Razr foldables, promises a range of helpful features.

These AI features include notification summarization, recording and transcription, journal note creation, and generative AI for image creation. Although these features are new to Motorola, they are similar to AI functionalities offered by other manufacturers. Therefore, the Razr’s unique color options and finishes might be its primary differentiator.

All details will be revealed at the official launch event on April 24th.
