Nomad has re-released its popular glow-in-the-dark Apple Watch band, this time in a limited edition Icy Blue color. Fans of the previous glow bands should act fast, as these special editions tend to sell out quickly. This new version promises even more luminescence than before, making it a unique addition to any Apple Watch collection.
Nomad’s Icy Blue Sport Band boasts a subtle, almost white, pale blue hue during the day. However, once darkness falls, the band transforms, emitting a striking, cool blue glow. This effect is achieved through photoluminescence, where the band absorbs light and then releases it in the dark. Unfortunately, Nomad hasn’t released a matching glow-in-the-dark iPhone case this time, which might disappoint those seeking a coordinated accessory set. The Icy Blue Sport Band is priced at $60, but with limited quantities available, Nomad anticipates a swift sell-out. Given the popularity of previous glow-in-the-dark bands, this prediction is likely accurate.
