Nothing is kicking off 2025 with a flurry of new product releases. Following the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro, the company is expanding its CMF sub-brand with the CMF Phone 2 Pro and a trio of new earbuds.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro arrives after the well-received CMF Phone 1, a budget-friendly phone with a unique design launched in July 2024. While the “Pro” moniker suggests a standard CMF Phone 2, no such device has been announced. It’s possible a non-Pro version will follow, mirroring the 3a and Phone 3 release strategy.
Customizable Design and Impressive Camera
Like its predecessor, the CMF Phone 2 Pro offers customization options. The most intriguing is the Universal Cover, which allows users to attach different camera lenses, including macro and fisheye, to the phone’s camera system. These lenses attach to the aluminum surrounds of the camera array, which houses a 50MP main camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and EIS. Additional accessories include a kickstand and a lanyard.

Powerful Performance and Display
The CMF Phone 2 Pro boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, 8GB of RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, expandable via MicroSD card up to 2TB. The 6.77-inch AMOLED display features a 2392 x 1080 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, and 1300 nits outdoor brightness. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP54 dust and water resistance rating round out the key features.
Competitive Pricing
Despite its impressive specs, the CMF Phone 2 Pro maintains an affordable price point. The 8GB/128GB model is priced at £219 (approximately $291), while the 8GB/256GB version costs £249 (approximately $331). US customers can purchase the 8GB/256GB model for $279 through Nothing’s Beta Program.
Expanding the Earbuds Lineup: CMF Buds 2, 2 Plus, and 2a
Nothing has also introduced three new earbuds: the CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2 Plus, and CMF Buds 2a. This adds to the existing Buds Pro 2, offering consumers a wide range of choices.

The CMF Buds 2 step up with 11mm PMI drivers, 48dB hybrid ANC, Ultra Bass and Spatial Audio modes, six HD microphones, an IP55 rating, and a longer battery life of 13 hours without ANC and 55 hours with the case.
The CMF Buds 2 Plus in different colors.
Positioned between the Buds 2 and Buds Pro 2, the CMF Buds 2 Plus feature 12mm LCP drivers and 6mm coaxial drivers, Hi-Res LDAC audio support, 50dB adaptive ANC, and the same Bass Boost and Spatial Audio features as the Buds 2. Battery life is rated at 14 hours without ANC and 61 hours with the case.

All three CMF earbuds models are available in various colors, including Nothing’s signature orange. The Buds 2a are priced at £29 ($38), the Buds 2 at £39 ($51), and the Buds 2 Plus at £49 ($65).
