The OnePlus Watch 3 is set to be unveiled on February 18, and recent reports, including a first look from TechRadar, offer a glimpse into this anticipated wearable. The new smartwatch from the OnePlus 13 manufacturer is poised to feature Wear OS 5, powered by the Snapdragon W5 chipset and a secondary MCU chip. This powerful combination promises a remarkable battery life of up to 120 hours.

Celina Shi, Chief Marketing Officer at OnePlus Europe, highlighted the software’s seamless switching between these chipsets. This optimization allows the OnePlus Watch 3 to achieve “maximum efficiency and strike the perfect balance between peak performance and extended battery life.”

The OnePlus Watch 3 boasts a sleek design with a rotating digital crown and a titanium bezel complemented by a sapphire crystal face, a significant upgrade from the stainless steel of the OnePlus Watch 2. How its digital crown functionality compares to the Apple Watch Series 10 remains to be seen.

According to Shi, the rotating crown’s ability to both press and rotate enhances navigation through apps and menus, ultimately improving the user experience.

Details about other features are still limited, but rumors suggest the inclusion of standard smartwatch health and fitness tools. Like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, the OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to offer blood pressure monitoring. This feature is also anticipated for the Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 later this year.
