At just 5.8mm thick and weighing a mere 163 grams, the Galaxy S25 Edge stands in stark contrast to the 7.3mm thick, 190-gram Galaxy S25 Plus. Despite the significant difference in size and weight, the S25 Edge shares many of the same impressive specifications. Both devices boast a vibrant 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a smooth 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. However, the S25 Edge delivers this stunning display in a lighter, more comfortable form factor.

Built with a durable titanium frame and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, the S25 Edge is engineered for resilience. It’s also the first smartphone to feature Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for enhanced screen protection, while Gorilla Glass Victus 2 safeguards the rear panel. The device is available in three stylish color options: Jet Black, Icy Blue, and Titanium Silver. Under the hood, the S25 Edge packs the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, mirroring the S25 Plus.

Similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the S25 Edge integrates Samsung’s comprehensive Galaxy AI suite, including features like Now Brief and Now Bar, as well as an array of advanced photo editing tools. Running One UI 7 based on Android 15, the device benefits from Samsung’s commitment to seven years of OS and security updates. A 3,900mAh battery powers the S25 Edge, supporting both wireless charging and 25W wired charging.

The vertically stacked camera module on the back of the Galaxy S25 Edge adds a distinctive touch, setting it apart from the rest of the S25 lineup. Samsung has impressively miniaturized the 200-megapixel main camera from the S25 Ultra by 18% to fit within the slim profile of the S25 Edge. This high-resolution sensor is complemented by a 12MP wide-angle camera. While a dedicated telephoto lens is absent, Samsung claims the primary camera can capture 2x “optical quality” zoomed shots. A 12MP front-facing camera caters to selfie enthusiasts.
