Samsung’s 2025 phone lineup continues to expand, with the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and A56 already released, along with the recently launched Galaxy S25 Edge. Even with seven new Galaxy phones already available, rumors suggest more are on the horizon, including the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, as well as a potential upgrade to the Galaxy S25 FE.
Enhanced Selfie Experience with the S25 FE’s Camera
A recent report from GalaxyClub, a reliable source for Samsung rumors, indicates the Galaxy S25 FE will boast a significantly improved front-facing camera. The rumored upgrade to a 12-megapixel sensor aligns the FE model with the resolution found in the flagship Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. While it remains uncertain if the sensor itself is identical across these models, the increased resolution promises enhanced selfie quality compared to the Galaxy S24 FE’s 10-megapixel front camera.
Maintaining a Familiar Main Camera
Regarding the rear camera, GalaxyClub suggests the S25 FE will likely retain the 50-megapixel sensor seen in its predecessor, the S24 FE, as well as the S23 FE and standard S models since the Galaxy S22. This consistency suggests a continued focus on delivering reliable image quality in the FE lineup.
Anticipating the S25 FE’s Arrival
While Samsung has yet to officially confirm these specifications, any improvements, however small, are always welcome, especially those that enhance image quality. The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to launch in the latter half of 2025, likely following the release of Samsung’s new foldable devices.
