The Ultrahuman smart ring gets a luxurious upgrade with the new Rare collection, unveiled at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Inspired by the desert, these premium smart rings are crafted from precious metals and offer exclusive benefits for their owners.
The Ultrahuman Rare collection comes in three distinct finishes: the Dune, Desert Rose, and Desert Snow. The Dune boasts an 18K gold construction with a brushed finish. The Desert Rose also features an 18K rose gold build with a similar brushed aesthetic. Completing the trio is the Desert Snow, crafted from PT950 platinum, incorporating shimmering elements designed to evoke the sparkle of snow.

Ultrahuman emphasizes luxury with the Rare collection, opting for 18K gold for the Dune and Desert Rose—a more luxurious choice than 9K gold. The Desert Snow’s PT950 platinum further reinforces this premium positioning, mirroring the popularity of these materials in wedding rings. Ultrahuman highlights the handcrafted nature of each Rare ring, using specialized metalworking techniques that require meticulous attention to detail.
Exclusive Benefits and Features
The Ultrahuman Rare rings stand out not only for their materials but also for the accompanying benefits. Each ring includes a lifetime membership to UltrahumanX, a subscription service offering accidental damage protection, theft and loss coverage, trade-in deals, priority support, and ring resizing options. Rare ring owners also receive all Ultrahuman “PowerPlugs,” including current and future premium features.

The included extras add significant value to the Ultrahuman Rare rings. The core technology remains the same as the Ultrahuman Ring Air, with sensors for movement, skin temperature, and heart rate. These added benefits might also help justify the premium price tag.
Pricing and Availability
Reflecting the high-end materials, the Ultrahuman Rare rings are priced between £1,500 and £1,800 (approximately $1,865 to $2,250). While exact U.S. pricing is yet to be confirmed, the Rare collection will be available in the U.K. and France from mid-January. Further details regarding the U.S. launch are expected soon.
