Remember the anticipation surrounding Apple’s AirPower wireless charging mat? While AirPower never saw the light of day, a compelling alternative has emerged, exclusively available on the Apple Store. The Zens Quattro Wireless Charger Pro 4 offers a sleek white and silver design, capable of charging four devices simultaneously—one more than the promised AirPower.

Developed by Netherlands-based Zens, the Quattro isn’t a mat but a two-tiered charging stand designed for iPhones and AirPods. Unfortunately, Apple Watch charging isn’t supported.

Charging Capabilities of the Zens Quattro Wireless Charger Pro 4

Officially known as the Zens Quattro Wireless Charger Pro 4, this stand efficiently charges up to four devices at once. This could be two iPhones and two AirPods pairs, or any combination thereof.

Powered by a robust 65W adapter, the Quattro features four MagSafe and Qi 2 compatible charging pads. Each pad delivers 15W fast charging, promising a 35% charge for your iPhone in just 30 minutes.

Apple also offers another Zens charging solution, the 4-in-1 Wireless Charger. This 60W charger provides 15W charging for iPhones, 5W for Apple Watches, and 5W for AirPods. While marketed as 4-in-1, the fourth device requires a wired connection via the USB-C port.

While neither replicates the exact AirPower vision, the Quattro’s ability to charge four devices concurrently is a significant advantage, even without Apple Watch compatibility.

Pricing and Availability

The Zens Quattro Wireless Charger Pro 4 and the Zens 4-in-1 Wireless Charger are available for purchase at Apple stores and online worldwide, both priced at $149.95 in the US.
