Acer unveiled several new desktop PCs at CES 2025, including the Aspire all-in-one (AIO) series and the Revo Box mini PC, posing a direct challenge to Apple’s iMac and Mac mini. All these new PCs are Copilot+ enabled, integrating neural processing units (NPUs) for AI-accelerated performance.
The Aspire AIO lineup features two distinct series: the Aspire C and Aspire S. The Aspire S models boast Intel Core Ultra 7 processors and Intel Arc graphics, while the Aspire C series utilizes AMD Ryzen AI 9 processors and AMD Radeon graphics cards.

With its sleek white design and integrated camera, the Aspire S series prioritizes a slim and minimalist aesthetic. In contrast, the black Aspire C series features a larger, top-mounted camera and offers more powerful performance while maintaining a stylish, slim profile. Notably, both Aspire C and S series offer 24-inch and 27-inch display options, a clear advantage over Apple’s current 24-inch iMac, addressing the demand for larger screen sizes.

Both series offer touch screen options and secure facial recognition login. The Aspire S supports up to 32GB of RAM, while the C series can accommodate up to 64GB. Connectivity options include two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and an HDMI 2.0 port. Both the 24-inch and 27-inch models feature a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and 250 nits of brightness.
Acer’s Mac mini competitor, the Revo Box AI, weighs in at just 1.10 pounds, significantly lighter than the lightest Mac mini configuration. Its dimensions are nearly identical to the Mac mini, just slightly wider, deeper, and shorter.

Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, Intel Arc Graphics, and offering up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage, the Revo Box AI is designed for everyday tasks with enhanced AI capabilities. It features a DisplayPort, an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 4 Type-C port, and dual 2.5G Ethernet ports. While it won’t match the power of the M4 Pro Mac mini, it offers a compelling alternative for general use.
All these new Acer desktops feature “Acer Intelligence Space,” a software hub that optimizes AI tools for enhanced performance in tasks like image generation and gaming. They also include a color-matched wireless keyboard and mouse.
Acer has yet to announce pricing and availability details for these new products.
